PRODUCT MARKETING ADVERTISING IN MEDIA HNGD 117 | by Anna Grochola
PURPOSE OF ADVERTISING Advertisement in common knowlegde is a form of marketing communication used to persuade an audience the right of the particular idea, and as a commercial advertisement is connected with all goods for sale. Apart from the social ads, an advertisement we would not to hesitate to say is all about the Money, to have it, to own it. Moder advertisement is a smart advertisement, all those ideas which has to be really out of the box, something that makes you laugh, something that make you look twice very often, it’s a pure ‘competition of charlatanic trics of XXI century’.

Fashion&FANTASY VANITY MOVIES by BRUCE WEBER ‘Better then Ever” Spring 2015 For our Spring 2015 campaign, Bruce Weber took these words to heart, creating a world that’s pure escape–a madcap weekend getaway to a Miami home filled with gorgeous women and their doting admirers. And what a ladies’ weekend it turned out to be! The personalities featured include some of the most iconic women from the past four decades of fashion: Christie Brinkley, Brooke Shields, Stephanie Seymour Brant, Pat Cleveland, Veronica Webb, Kirsten Owen, Elaine Irwin, Kiara Kabukuru, Bethann Hardison, and Susanne Bartsch. Add a flock of handsome men to take care of any and all domestic whims, and you get one out-ofthis-world getaway we’d be happy to get lost in.
Kind of back to 90’ and supermodels
“When I’m taking photographs that mix fashion and fantasy, after a while it’s really hard to come back to the real world. But I like the idea of not coming back to the real world - of instead living in your own.” - Bruce Weber

VANITY MOVIES by BRUCE WEBER ‘Better then Ever” Spring 2015 Titled Better Than Ever, the campaign is the latest in a series of collaborations between Barneys and Weber whose past installments also featured subjects that break the mold of traditional fashion photography, highlighting a diversity of age, background, and ethnicity. Having previously photographed a group of transgender men and women for our Brothers, Sisters, Sons, and Daughters campaign, as well as an array of 76 Angelinos for L.A. Stories, the emphasis has always been on storytelling and Better Than Ever is no exception. With a lighthearted and playful sense of humor, the images celebrate these incredible women in a dreamy, fantasy landscape. The notable ladies, including some of the biggest supermodels of all time, range from their late 30s to mid-60s and possess a level of confidence that can only be gained through the experience of having lived. “Never, in a million years, has a 20-year-old model walked into a room and had the same affect these women do,” Barneys Creative Director Dennis Freedman said. Through these photographs, Weber shows that beauty, poise, personality, and the ability to truly captivate and seduce often come only with age.

LULLABIES IKEA
Agency Forsman & Bodenfors Client IKEA Sweden IKEA wanted to revitalise the long running claim for its bed offer: ‘Better Sleep for Everyone’. We asked six of Sweden’s most talented musicians to compose modern interpretations of classic lullabies. We turned the songs into six music videos each featuring an artist in a bed. We created a site to host the videos and released the songs on an album. With a cover that looked, surprisingly,a lot like a banner for IKEA. Of course, we could follow people as they logged intoiTunes and bought our commercials.

Wallpaper* Work Issue
Four covers were produced for Wallpaper* magazine’s first ever work-themed issue, using bold, striking type, with their own slogans: Work is Play’; ‘Work More Live More’; ‘Work Hard and Be Nice to People’; and ‘Play and Work and Play’.
Typical of Anthony Burrill’s style, the covers were an apt continuation of his cult ‘Work Hard’ poster. The four collectable covers also used an experimental matt printing technique to further the tactility and individuality of each issue.
