Godean Traditional Market
COMPETITION Sayembara Arsitektur Pra Rancangan/Desain Skematik PASAR INDUK GODEAN 2020 in collaboration with M. Ridwan Fauzi, Pascal Abhijana, Muhammad Raushan status: Top 16 site: Sleman, Central Java, Indonesia
“Taking the Javanese house philosophy, Pringgitan is a space ‘between’ or ‘transition’. The meaning of transition space is interpreted physically and metaphorically. Physically, it becomes atrium and ramp which is the main soul of the building as a transition place between floors. Meanwhile, metaphorically, it is hoped that the market will become transition space that functions not only for sellers and buyers but also between layers of society in order to create a place of selling and buying which can simultaneously accomodate the community. “

Godean Market is located at Jl. Godean KM. 10 No. 38, Godean. The perimeter of the road at 400 meters radius from the site is entirely commercial area. The enormous existing building give the impression that the presence of Godean Market is not too “collaborative”. The presence of this market obscures visual access to the surrounding commercial.

Permeable Public Space:
Mixed-use Building in the Center of the City
STUDIO PROJECT semester 7 / individual site: Bandung, Indonesia supervisor: Dr.-Ing.Ir. Himasari Hanan, MAE.
Naripan as an area in the center of Kota Bandung is a well-known culinary tourism area with a fairly high building density. Density is an issue that needs attention along with the issue of building functions due to the high price of land in this area. So, the challenge in this design is how to make a building with diverse function in a limited area that can solve the problem of building density around the site.
PERMEABLE PUBLIC SPACE: NARIPAN TOWN SQUARE
location
Site design responds the presence of commercial buildings along Jalan Naripan and Jalan Veteran by making direct access between the two roads. This creates permeability that makes the commercial buildings around be integrated with this building. traffic density high density medium density low density
Most of the periphery of the site is designed as public space for pedestrians. This space is equipped with rows of food and beverages shops on the ground floor of this building to continue the typical shops from Jalan Naripan and Jalan Veteran.
commercial area existing condition
Building mass is divided into three with the smallest sides of each mass facing Jalan Naripan and Jalan Veteran to reduce the bulky impression this building.

Traditional Market Revitalization as Urban Public Space
FINAL PROJECT semester 8 / individual site: Bandung, Indonesia supervisor: Prof.Dr.-Ing.Ir. Widjaja Martokusumo
Pasar Kosambi is one of the most important markets in Bandung. As a traditional market, Pasar Kosambi should be the heart of the economy for all levels of society. But what happened at the Kosambi market was completely different. At present, Pasar Kosambi condition is very worrying with poor physical condition and not optimal market functions. For this reason, redesign needs to be done to improve the quality of Kosambi market.
