Välkommen till vin iga Mumindalen!
De har blivit så oerhört älskade, de där fi gurerna i Mumindalen! Inte bara den underbara, rundnätta Muminfamiljen. Vi har också tagit fi gurer som Sniff, Snusmumriken, Hemulen och Filifjonkan till våra hjärtan. I den här vackert illustrerade boken får vi följa med på hela nio olika vinteräventyr!

MoomiNmamma was haviNg tea at Mrs Fillyjonk’s house. It was very different from the Moominhouse. Everything was so spotlessly clean and tidy.
“I’ve even put plastic coverings on the furniture to keep the dust off,” said Mrs Fillyjonk, with pride. At that moment, Moomintroll burst in, almost knocking over a table. “Fire!” he shouted. “Mamma, I think the Moominhouse is on fire!”
He grabbed Moominmamma’s hand and they rushed off. Mrs Fillyjonk tutted as she cleaned up Moomintroll’s muddy footprints. Then she went to see what was happening at the Moominhouse for herself.

Moominmamma’s Maid
Dark clouds were billowing from the roof. “Fire!” shouted Moominmamma, dashing past. But Mrs Fillyjonk couldn’t see any flames. Then, a small dirty figure popped out of the chimney. It was Little My! She slid down the roof, landing in a horrified Mrs Fillyjonk’s arms. “Morning!” said Little My. “We’ve been cleaning.” “Yes,” said a sooty Moominpappa, emerging from the front door. “A spot of chimney whatsit. Ah, Mrs Fillyjonk, are you well?” He offered her a dirty paw. “Disgusting!” said Mrs Fillyjonk, backing away in horror. Moominmamma sighed with relief. There was no fire – it was just clouds of soot.
“Do come in for a cup of tea,” she said, trying to calm Mrs Fillyjonk down.
Moominpappa tried hard to think of a job that he could do. It was very, very difficult. Then, as he looked out to sea, it came to him in a flash. He would be a tour guide! He would take groups of delighted passengers on board the Adventure to explore the sights of the Moominvalley coastline. They would only sail in storms and high winds. His new company would be called ‘Gale Tours’.
“If there ain’t a gale, we don’t sail!” he said, very pleased with himself. The next morning Moominpappa grabbed his briefcase and rushed off. “Have a good day at work, dear,” called Moominmamma, looking a little worried.
“No time for goodbyes,” he answered. “There’s work to be done!” Moominpappa headed for the beach and found a cave that would make a suitable office. Then he got to work on the Adventure. He painted it, sealed the hull and replaced the rudder. He even sold a ticket to his first customer – a passing Hemulen. “This is a new chapter in the life of the Moomins!” he declared.
