COACHING COORDINATOR’S REPORT

Mr. Lionel Brown

The time has flown past us again, it seemed like we had just started the season off and it has now finished.

Again in 2005 the members of the coaching panel have completed the hard work, in all there were a total of three course conducted. The first was a one-day program at Steve Folkes Reserve and the next two at the Bankstown District Sports Club following the Wednesday night format.

This year the level 1 accreditation was divided into two parts eg. Mini / Mod and International. Approximately eleven candidates gained Mini / Mod and one candidate gaining both Mini / mod and International.

As in the past, attracting new people to refereeing is still proving a problem, but I believe we have some good quality in the members for 2005.

Thank you to the executive for their support during this past season. A well done must go to the active and non-active referees, who give the new comers their time and advice both at the meetings and on match days, well done.

Bankstown District Sports Club, thank you for your support over many years providing a Wednesday night coach venue. Also, thanks to the Bankstown Sports Football Club for the use of their venue, where the one-day course was conducted

Finally to the coaching panel Joe Attard, Glen Jeffcoat and Jim Hall, another job well done.
