About the Author

Author Kay Swann-Gregor was born and raised in Maryland and currently lives on the Potomac River in southern Maryland. She comes from a large family with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews a well as three children and three grandchildren. This nursery rhyme was a labor of love portraying the children as the animals of coastal Maryland, a truly unique and beautiful place to live.
