Books from Birth, A Program of Porter-Leath

The mission of Books from Birth is to promote kindergarten readiness and strengthen family bonds in Shelby County by providing age-appropriate books for all children from birth to age five. Books from Birth formally organized in the summer of 2005 as the Shelby County affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library after a state-wide effort brought the Imagination Library to all children in Tennessee's 95 counties.
