Experimental Strategy of “Urban Voids” This thesis, Urban Commercial Area Revival: Mahachai Marketplace, is the design experimental project in order to find out architectural possibilities of urban commercial development. Moreover, this project aims to search for urban conditions under which the particular commercial district is based upon physically existing constraints. Possibilities of physical relationships of activities and spaces lead to a new form of commercial program, which is inserted inside existing building blocks by means of experimental strategy of “urban voids”.
