The Assistant will in part be responsible for coordinating the Community Building activities, building management and office management. Hired candidate will be a part of ensuring that users of the building have a great experience! To do this the applicant should have education, knowledge or training in one or more of the following areas: Office management, public relations, customer service, marketing, event coordination or facility operations. The assistants skill sets should include being service orientated, a multitasker, energetic, imaginative, well organized and capable of functioning effectively in an independent environment. It also requires the ability to communicate professionally. Computer skills are essential. There will be a minimum of 15 guaranteed flexible daytime hours each week in addition to flexible hours for events that could be days, nights and/or weekends. This schedule varies based on programming. Salary range is $18-$22 per hour pending experience. She was born on August 23, 1928, in Neenah, WI, to the late Harold & Mabel (Kuhr) Pearson. She married the love of her life, Herbert Sawallisch on February 14, 1948, in Marengo, IL. Karl Norman Brohammer age 80, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at UTMB Clear Lake Hospital. Karl was born May 5, 1941 in Belvidere, Illinois & was a resident of Alvin since 2012. Formerly of Atlanta Georgia, where he retired as manager of the Advanced Wood Products Laboratory at Georgia Tech. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Alvin. Karl is preceded in death by his parents, Herman & Ruby Brohammer; sister, Sophie Casey; brother, Harry Brohammer. Karl is survived by his loving wife of 52 year, Olivia Brohammer; son, Matt Brohammer of Atlanta, GA; sister, Beatrice Dabbs & husband Bruce, Belvidere, IL; nephews, Chris & Karen Casey, Orland Park, IL, Steve & Katie Casey, Grant Park, IL, David & Jess Casey, Delores, CO; nieces, Faith & Jay Moscato, Belvidere, IL and Katy Dabbs, Loves Park, IL; along with numerous extended family and friends. She was born August 5, 1928 in Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter to Harry Edward Bolz, Sr. and Lucille (Burch) Bolz. She married William J. Keegan, Sr. in Chicago, IL. She was a mother and homemaker and when the youngest was in school she drove a school bus in District 100 for many more years. Margery attended First United Methodist Church in Belvidere and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics, gardening & reading. She also loved to sew making homemade clothes for loved ones. She will be loved & missed by her sons, Greg (Donna) Keegan, John Keegan and Brian (Lori) Keegan; brother Harry Bolz, Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan, Teri Lynn, Marcia, Christine, Katie, Joe, Jessica, Kim, Scott, Katrena, Jonathon, Bridget; and multiple great and great-great grand kids. Margery is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Keegan, Sr.; sons, William Jr., Phillip Keegan; Terry Keegan, Joseph Keegan, Roger Keegan and Kelly Keegan; and granddaughter, Karrie Ann.
