BOONE COUNTY DRUG PREVENTION COALITION NEWSLETTER A Message from our new Secretary, Justin Barber: My name is Justin Barber & I am the newly elected Secretary for the Boone County Drug Prevention Coalition (BCDPC). I have been involved with the Coalition for five years. I am employed as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Boone County. I joined the coalition because not only do I work in Boone County, but I also live here with my family. The BCDPC is important for me because we work hard to provide information to the youth of this community about the risks & dangers of alcohol, tobacco & substance abuse & how they can get involved in drug free programs & gain leadership experience. With the upcoming Boone County Fair, the coalition will have a booth to provide more information to community members & youth regarding our mission to prevent tobacco, alcohol, & substance misuse as well as ways to get involved in our work. I look forward to meeting with you & answering questions.
