GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Trebbiano grape is widely grown throughout Italy, because its hardy and high­yielding vines consistently produce an attractive and popular wine. However, we wanted to make a wine which would reveal the finer qualities of this grape. Bt careful tending of the vines, limiting production, choosing only the best and using a vinification process designed to bring out the often forgotten bouquet and flavour of this grape, we have given it back its full taste, with its hint of ripe fruit.


Alcohol: 12,5% ­ 13% vol.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Vermiglio a Cerasuolo made from the Montepulciano grape by the white vinification process, is a fresh young wine, fruity in flavour and vermilion in colour. It is a vintage wine which should be drunk young and is especially suited to summer drinking; served chilled, it is an ideal accompaniment to both fish and meat dishes.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION This wine is made from a number of clones of Montepulciano taken from various old vines on the estate, to recreate a wine with all the proprieties and characteristics of this native grape. Careful vinification and one year’s aging yield a wine of notable quality, whose roundness and suppleness will improve with laying down.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION A special pebbly alluvional soil and the micro­climate benefiting from a thermo regulating influence of the breeze due to the closeness of the Gran Sasso Mountain (2998 m.o.s.l.) and the sea as well, allows our vineyards to produce the best. This pecularity proper of the “Colline Teramane” zone, adds character and quality to wines and gives a particular richness in savours, where spices and red fruit flavours stand our giving a particular roundness and taste to the Montepulciano’s wines of this area.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Over a number of years, this northern grape has taken hold in Italy and has demostrated its adaptability to the Italian climate and its versatility. We have omitted the fermentation in barrique, which often characterises the vinification of Chardonnay, but we have treated the grapes in a way which allows them to exhibit all their natural characteristics. We have thus created a wine with a flowery bouquet, which is well structured and dry.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The idea of planting the Sauvignon grape on our estate came to us some 25 years ago, when we realised the similarity between our soil and that of some regions of Bordeaux. Although this grape had never been grown in our region, so that there was no experience on which to draw, we could not resist the temptation to try and reproduce this wine, with its characteristic elderflower and grassy bouquet and its intense fruitiness. So our Ghiaiolo was born, priding itself on being the first Sauvignon to be produced in Abruzzo. Today, many years later, it is imitated by several other local growers.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Our estate was the first in Abruzzo to introduce Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We did this for many reasons, not least of which were their particular complementary qualities and their ancient origins. It is said that Cabernet Sauvignon was known in the time of Pliny, by the name “Biturica”, which comes form the name of the people of Médoc who produces this wine, so much appreciated in Rome. Our climatic conditions and the composition of our soil persuaded us, 25 years ago, to try and produce a soft and fragrant wine, which ages well, as an alternative to Montepulciano, the preponderant wine of this region.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION This wine is made from grapes hand­picked from the Liburni vineyard and ancient vineyard which has remained in continuous production. It faces outh­east on gently sloping ground whose chalky and alluvial soil is particularly suited to the cultivation of vines over the years. The old vines have been regrafted and in some cases supplemented with Cabernet Sauvignon and other complementary varieties in order to create a wine more suited to the contemporary palate, while preserving much of its traditional character.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION This Chardonnay wine is a special cuvee produced with a selection of hand picked grapes. Its golden colour comes from a controlled fermentation in French barrels with is own yeast and a rest on this lees, in order to acquire richness in flavour and sapidity. Bolgheri Aged Grappa Alexander Exquisite is the first aged grappa with the Alexander brand, obtained from a rare selection of marcs coming from the zone Bolgheri. CHARACTERISTICS Bolgheri is an outlying administrative division of the municipality Castagneto Carducci, situated in the middle of Maremma Livornese on the hills Colline Metallifere. This place is famous for the great red wines that are produced. Thanks to the particular characteristics of the soil and to the sunny, dry and mildly windy microclimate, the vines of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, have become very suitable for this zone. It guarantees excellent quality wines. The marcs of Bolgheri are distilled in copper alembics, where they meet a steam stream that extracts the hydroalcoholic solution and aromas. The product obtained is therefore refrigerated at a temperature of -10° C and then filtered on natural materials, in order to separate the unwanted components that are still present. The grappa obtained is mellowed in smoked barrels.

Uve d'Alexander is a name that over time has developed a prestigious reputation and is the guarantee of superior-quality eaux-devie.CHARACTERISTICSThe name Prosecco calls to mind the famous wine, expression of happiness and poetry. The aromatic marc obtained from the typical yellow-green grapes of the vine Glera is distilled following Sandro Bottega's method when it is still fresh and vinous. The resulting grappa is then refined inside stainless steel containers for 3 to 6 months, in order to allow the different aromas to blend.
