Replacing a radiator sensing unit to a wireless Danfoss type
Evaluation of old unit type
Picture of the old sensing unit
Use RA (013G2755)
Sensing unit mounted on valve with SNAP
Consider Sensing unit
New wireless sensing unit
Sensing unit fastened on valve with a hexagon socket screw
Non Danfoss labels E.g. Heimeier and Oventrop Non-Danfoss valve 30 mm
Use RA-K (013G2735)
Sensing unit fastened on valve with union nut Valve
Definitions
Sensing unit
The valve is placed in the piping in the top of the radiator and lets more or less hot water into the radiator
Sensing unit fastened to valve with clamping band with a slot screw 32 mm
Valve The Sensing unit is placed on the valve. In the sensing unit,, a temperature sensor is placed that measures the temperature in the room and ”sends a message” to the valve of how much water it should let into the radiator.
Sensing unit
Use RAVL (013G2795)
Important: External diameter on clamping band = 32 mm
Use RAV (013G2785)
Sensing unit fastened to valve with clamping band with a slot screw ≈ 41 mm
Important: External diameter on clamping band ≈ 41 mm
