A new organization out of Kentucky, Backroads Of Appalachia, a 501c(3) non-profit has dreamed in a big waydevelop and deliver economic viability to the forgotten coal communities of East Kentucky through motorsports tourism. Not only are the communities they serve benefactors of their effort, but so is the riding community in the region. Over the last several months, BOA has partnered with local community leaders to create a myriad of events, drag/time trials on airport runways, off-road car races, hill climbs, charity and special fundraiser rides all to let people know that Kentucky is serious about what they have.

And their latest, a mobile App that has over four thousand miles of yellow striped adventure featuring forty-four GPS Turn-By Turn Appalachian Trail Routes that are located throughout Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, Southwest Virginia, and Tennessee. From breathtaking overlooks, waterfalls, natural splendors to historical landmarks, The Backroads of Appalachia Mobile Application offers something for everyone regardless of what you ride or drive.

Backroads isn’t just busy at home. They’ve taken their show on the road to Daytona, Sturgis and now to Thunder Beach as they fuel up a new and exciting partnership with Indian Motorcycle of Panama City Beach. They’ve Hogged bikes, passed out trail cards, poker chips, patches, t-shirts and shook hands with industry leaders and celebrities to roll their ride down the road.

Please help us celebrate their successes as Born To Ride continues to support those who make it all happen-our reader/riders.
