Star Fabulous makes letter I am 13 years old and have loved cardmaking since my grandma and sister introduced it to me around three years ago. I have been subscribed to Papercraft Essentials for nearly two I have been subscribed to years and have loved receiving them. These magazines have inspired me to try new things, and I have recently made the drawer gift box from issue 195; this was the fi rst box I have made without using a shop-bought die. I have really enjoyed receiving these magazines and defi nitely want to continue with the subscription for years to come. I am always excited when the new magazine arrives and immediately open and read it! Lily S, via email Mike says: Hi Lily, I’m immensely impressed with your fab creations, and the gift box from issue 195 looks awesome – well done, the whole Papercraft Essentials team loves it! I hope the voucher helps you stock up on more stash. Please send me pics of your makes; I love seeing them! Happy crafting!

New skills
Issue 198 certainly threw down the gauntlet with the Fairy Wishes collection, providing an array of rich coloured papers, toppers and fairy silhouettes; not the fi rst thing that comes to mind when thinking all things fairy. So, I would like to thank you for getting my grey cells working and giving me the confi dence to work with dark papers and silhouettes without the end product looking dull or morbid. I have had such fun making 10 cards thus far and have hardly made a dent on the foiled collection. I even felt inspired to try Sam Butler’s circular card make, something I had never tried before and was very pleased with the results. I have really enjoyed working with the fairy papers/toppers and being pushed out of my comfort zone; we are never too old to learn new things. Keep up the good work, and thanks to you all for providing such a good read, ideas and inspiration. Gill Hopkins, Hampshire
Inspiring work colleagues
I have been creating cards for a long time. I had decided to randomly show my work colleagues the types of cards I had been making to help me through lockdown. They were so impressed that my manager asked me to create some to be used within our mental wellbeing team. With Mental Health Week fast approaching, I created the theme of nature. This was the fi rst time I had been approached by a company. If it was not for your magazine and die-cuts used, I don’t think I would have had that chance to share my greeting cards so widely. Thank you, Papercraft Papercraft Essentials. Marina Darby, via email
