We travel to the local maker craftsman and discuss the idea and get costs and a rendering.

Welcome to the club! If you or your company refers 5+ events per year or 5k in rental revenue you will be automatically entered into our system as one of our Preferred Vendor Friends! The Perks: 1. 10% Off all rentals. 2. Free use of the Borrow Space for Parties, Showers, or meetings! This can be extended to up to 3 of your clients as well! 3. Placement on our Preferred Vendor Page with link back to your website. 4. Use of any Borrow rental item for use in Styled Shoots pro bono!

An easy guide to book your rental with Borrow + FAQ: Step 1: Either give us a buzz or create a wish list online for a quote. ** Helpful Hint: Book Early! We do have weekends where we completely sell out during the months of June through October so we recommend getting orders in at least 6 months out, but if you have a last minute client try us anyway as we will do the absolute best we can to make sure we take care of you. Step 2: Feel free to bring your client by Borrow! We love visitors and are happy to receive any other items from other rental companies for your appointment so your client can see your design all put together. We also have coffee and water onsite and can give you a work area if you want to have a meeting with your client after the appointment. Step 3: Once your quote is completed our booking system will automatically hold all items as a booked order for 7 days. After the 7 day marker our system needs a deposit payment to convert orders to confirmed status and ensure your items don’t appear available. Step 4: We love making custom pieces! If you have an idea for a custom piece you’d like to rent or purchase please allow us 6-8 weeks leeway time to ensure we can finish the project. Custom Projects do require 100% payment up front and are not eligible for cancellation / refund. Step 5: After the order is booked we will contact you 7 days before your event to collect the remainder of your payment as well as confirm logistics and drop off / pickup times. If you know of any drop off or pickup constraints please let us know early as some difficult delivery logistics or night of pickups could create additional charges. Step 6: We always want your feedback! We love vendor perspectives and there is no opinion that matters more to us than yours! FAQ: Are there additional charges for Saturday or Sunday drop offs during regular business hours? No! Weekends are our Jam! If you do have a company charging extra you do have the option of having those items dropped to Borrow during Monday - Friday and we will bring them onsite for you. The charge for this service is 20% of the outside rental revenue and this includes us setting the product up for you as well. Are all orders eligible for delivery and pickup? Our delivery minimum is $500 in rental revenue. All of our deliveries include set to floor plan, final inspection and polish. Make sure to let the caterer know this as this many times cuts down their labor charges and can help save your client money! Delivery charges are 20% in Cuyahoga County for orders over $1500, 25% for orders under $1500, 25% for orders over $1500 outside Cuyahoga County and 30% for orders outside Cuyahoga County and under $1500.
What are our will call options? Will Call is available Monday- Friday 9am-4:00pm. All upholstered pieces must be transported in a covered vehicle (no open bed trucks) and client does assume 100% responsibility for repair or replace unless the will call damage waiver is purchased and coverage is available. What is damage waiver? Damage Waiver is available for purchase to cover the cost of rentals which are accidentally damaged. The waiver is calculated at 6% of the total rental revenue and waives you of liability for rented items that are returned damaged due to an accident. You must return all broken or damaged items and other such evidence that we may reasonably require. The waiver is secondary to your own insurance. It does not provide coverage for damage due to neglect, abuse or misuse. Are you flexible on your pricing? For vendors only- YES. Please always ask. We love working with our vendor friends and we understand the importance of flexibility. We will always help to try to make cost saving options and at the heart of who we are we want every event to be awesome. How does rentals work for The Madison Venue? Borrow is the Event Management Company hired to help execute events at The Madison. All items brought in with the exception of decor elements and catering are ordered through Borrow from tables and chairs to all glassware and linens. If you want to bring in items from another company- no problem! We will combine the sub-rentals all on one order and orchestrate drop offs and pickups for you. Borrow will be the company checking in and out these items on site and if items are dropped with missing items we will contact you immediately. Any changes to these orders can be done by contacting Julie Eiffel (julie@borrowrentals.com.) If you need to schedule a walk through with clients we will also be running those as well- so give us a buzz and we’d love to set those up! You have two options for event rentals at The Madison; Rentals including setup and rentals without setup. If you’d like items set for you please let us know and we can quote you the appropriate labor charges. Do I still get my Borrow discount when I rent things from Borrow for The Madison Venue? Yes! Do I still get my discount from the other rental companies for rentals at The Madison? Sadly no. The discounts extended to vendors is kept to pay the staff for The Madison. However because the rentals process becomes so streamlined you could end up saving yourself hours of logistics planning and quantity updates so it does save you time and money as well as ensure your event at The Madison will run as smoothly as possible!
