DIRECTOR

Gregg Wiggans (DIRECTOR) is a freelance Director committed to the development of new and exciting American theater.

For 3 seasons, Gregg served as the Artistic Directing Fellow at Kenyon Playwrights Conference under the leadership of Playwright, Wendy MacLeod. During his short period at Kenyon, Gregg facilitated the developments of over 90 new American plays from writers across the country.

For over 6 seasons Gregg served as Artistic Associate, at the Two-Time Tony Award Winning National Playwrights Conference at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, under the Artistic Direction of Wendy C. Goldberg. At the O’Neill, Gregg participated in the development of more than 40 projects for the stage, many of which have gone on to great acclaim with productions in New York, London, and around the country. Among them are the 2010 and 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Award-winning plays (Julia Cho’s The Language Archive and Jennifer Haley’s The Nether).

On over 10 production, Gregg served as the Directing Associate at the Drama Desk and Obie Award Winning O Broadway company, Transport Group Theater Company; under the Leadership of Jack Cummings III. BROADWAY as Assistant Director/Ockrent Directing Fellow on Promises, Promises alongside the legendary writer, Neil Simon and Director/Choreographer, Rob Ashford. Assistant Executive Producer How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying featuring Daniel Radcli e. In addition, his work has also been seen at; ArtShare LA, Paper Mill Playhouse, Geva Theatre, Writers Theater of New Jersey, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Williamstown Theater Festival, The Lark, The Kennedy Center, The Goodman, Actor’s Salon of D.C., Austin Script Works, Casa Manana, Austin Lyric Opera, and Arena Stage.

Television work includes; Assistant Executive Producer, SMASH (NBC), 2nd Assistant Director, IT COULD BE WORSE (Hulu) and has directed and produced episodes for the HGTV network.

Gregg is a two-time National Directors Fellowship Finalist given by the Kennedy Center, The National New Play Network, and S.D.C.F. Gregg has been a guest artist at the National Theater Institute, Millsaps College, and Wagner College. A a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab and a proud graduate University of Texas at Austin.

PLAYWRIGHT

Jen Silverman (PLAYWRIGHT) is a playwright, novelist, poet and screenwriter. Jen’s plays include Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties (Woolly Mammoth, MCC, Southwark Playhouse London); The Moors (Yale Rep, Playwrights Realm); The Roommate (Humana Festival, Williamstown, Steppenwolf, South Coast, Long Wharf) and Witch (Writer’s Theatre, Ge en, Huntington).

Jen’s plays have been produced internationally in Australia, the UK, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, and elsewhere. Jen is the author of the debut novel We Play Ourselves and the story collection The Island Dwellers (Random House) and the poetry chapbook Bath, selected by Traci Brimhall for Driftwood Press. Additional work has appeared in Vogue, The Paris Review, Literary Hub, Ploughshares, the Yale Review and elsewhere.

Jen wrote The Miranda Obsession as a narrative podcast for Audible/ Vice, starring Rachel Brosnahan. Jen is a three-time MacDowell Fellow, a member of New Dramatists, and an A liated Artist with New Georges, Clubbed Thumb, Space on Ryder Farm, and the Playwrights Center. Honors: The Helen Merrill Award, the Yale Drama Series Award, the Lilly Award, Fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. J

en is a 2022 National Endowment for the Arts Fellow (prose) and 2022 Guggenheim Fellow (theatre). Jen also writes for TV and lm.
