Shcherbenko Art Centre

Shcherbenko Art Centre (SHCHAC) was founded in 2012 by gallery owner and curator Maryna Shcherbenko. It is based on Bottega Gallery (2008-2014). The mission of SHCHAC is to create the opportunities for dialogue between the representatives of the contemporary art and the wider audience. SHCHAC works as an experimental platform for “young art”, which is one of the key areas of the institution activities. In 2009 the competition MUHі (Young Ukrainian Painters) was founded. Nowadays, it holds the leading position in its sphere. Main activity of SHCHAC was aimed the development of modern Ukrainian art and raising the level of culture in the country through the implementation of cooperation projects of art with literature, music, architecture, product design, fashion industry, and others.
