ome of my happiest memories are from summer camp: the campfires, the songs, the friendships. Camp is the first (and only) place I dissected an owl pellet. It’s where I learned to line dance (I can still do a mean Cotton Eye Joe). It was a welcome break away from my parents (and probably a nice vacation for them, too). Where I’m from, options were limited to 4-H camp or the Kids in College program. (I did both.) Luckily, there are more expansive options in Colorado. Whether you have an indoor kid, an outdoor kid, a theater kid or a kid who loves to dig in the dirt, this guide will most certainly help you find the right fit for your family.
