Oli Hyatt is an award winning animator and show creator from the BAFTA award winning animation studio Blue-Zoo who's work include, Tree Fu Tom, Miffy, Digby Dragon, Alphablocks and Olive the Ostrich. In 2014 he was awarded an MBE, for his tireless work campaigning for better children's media. He lives in Kings Sutton with his wife Emma and his little boy Bugsy, he is a keen hockey player and coaches at Stratford Hockey Club.

Lauren grew up in Wales in a small town called Cwmbran (this name translates to Crow Valley... there really are a lot of crows!). After moving to London to study Animation she decided to become a Freelance Illustrator, gaining her first illustration job with Blue-Zoo Productions in 2009. Lauren has illustrated for many clients since, including Nickelodeon, Cbeebies, Google Android, Innocent Smoothies and TED. She has illustrated for over 30 activity books for various publishers.

Adam Bestwick is a Wirral-based graphic designer with over 27 years experience in the creative sector. Adam won the ‘License This’ award at Brand Licensing Europe 2014 with his creation ‘RaNT!’ He has 6 published picture books to-date – many of which have been translated for overseas markets. They include More Ketchup Please, The Chicken That Hatched a Cow and The Bean Machine which has been shortlisted for the Sheffield Children’s Book Award 2017.

Born in Liverpool, Claire Evans is a talented young author/illustrator with a diverse range of styles who enjoys injecting a sense of fun into her work. A graduate from Liverpool John Moores University, Claire’s other books include; The Three Little Superpigs, The Chicken That Hatched a Cow and The Bear and the Hair.

When he’s not at work trying to come up with ideas, he’s at home with his 6-year old daughter stealing hers. Nico has also written and illustrated Where’s Polar Bear? and What’s Frog Thinking?

The Author/Illustrator Since graduating from the University of Central Lancashire in 2007, Faye Williamson has designed and doodled for various clients including Iceland Foods, Liverpool Football Club, NHS, Redrow and Merlin Entertainments. As well as being a writer and illustrator, Chris Capstick has enjoyed over 20 years working as a graphic designer, art director and photographer. Born in Yorkshire, he studied art, design and photography at the colleges of Leeds and Manchester. He has travelled the world extensively and continues to be inspired by vibrant places and people.

After graduating with an MA in Children’s Books Illustration at Cambridge School of Arts, Monika Filipina enjoys life as a freelance illustrator and author. Monika has worked for many clients including: Bloomsbury, Miles Kelly, Digital Leaf, Sinnos, Benchmark Educational, Lerner Publishing and Glottogon. In 2013 the book Monika illustrated Oh, What a Tangle! was awarded the Best Children’s Book Prize at the Golden Pinwheel Awards at Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair.

Realising at an early age she was too tall to pursue her childhood dreams of becoming the tooth fairy, Sarah Harman followed her passion for art and design. Now an artist based in Madrid, Emi Ordás was born in Argentina in 1985 and has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil. He studied Graphic Design at Nueva Escuela de Diseño y Comunicación, where he learned most of the techniques and materials he uses today. Over the last few years he’s published more than 250 books in Argentina, Mexico, Puerto Rico, USA, Canada, Spain, Belgium and UK.
