Look out for your registration email
An invitation to register for your course online will be sent from 18 August 2020. This includes instructions on how to register before you arrive via myHub and what information you will need to enrol. If you applied through an international representative, we send this email to your personal email address – not to your representative. Once you receive this email it only takes 20- 30 minutes to register and includes paying for, or telling us how you intend to pay for your tuition fees.
Visit Brightspace for pre-arrival activities
After you’ve registered, you can access your new student profile in myHub to download helpful documents, and access your virtual learning environment, Brightspace. On Brightspace you will find your pre-arrival activities, helpful resources in the ME@BU section, access to support services and more to get you prepared for the start of term.
Download iBU, our official app
Our official app for use throughout your studies, iBU, includes essential information such as bus timetables, library resources, important contacts and much more.

Familiarise yourself with emergency numbers
It’s important you know how to get help if you find yourself in an emergency situation. If you are on a BU campus, you should call 01202 962222. If you are not on campus, then call 999 for an ambulance, the police, the fire service or the coastguard. It is worthwhile adding these numbers to your phone so that you always have them close by.
