Bowens Chapel AME Zion Church

Bowens Chapel AME Zion church is one of the oldest, continuously open churches in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church Conference. The church is in a great location at a stop light, across from a shopping center, near a zoo, and on the main highway leading to several beach areas like Sea Breeze, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher.
