Bowman Power Group Ltd (UK) is the world leader in advanced exhaust energy recovery technologies for reciprocating engines, which are the dominant plant for power generation in remote areas, for renewable fuels and for biomass energy applications. Bowman utilises Electric Turbo Compounding (ETC) technology to recover your engine’s wasted exhaust gas using a turbine generator to directly convert exhaust energy into clean, low-carbon electrical energy. The resultant overall increased electrical efficiency can deliver an up to 8% fuel savings or increased electrical power output. We are proud to offer systems compatible with a number of the world’s major diesel and gas engine manufacturers, including Wärtsilä, Cummins, Scania, Volvo, Mitsubishi, MAN, GE-Jenbacher and Caterpillar. Driven by customer demand, we are continually adding to this list. In the near future we anticipate the release of ETC systems for MWM and MTU engines, among others.
