INTRODUCTION This venue guide contains important and helpful information regarding the event production and venue hire at BOXPARK Croydon. It provides technical information and guidance with regards to how we stage events. BOXPARK reserves the right to amend or supplement this manual and will reissue this document annually or when appropriate and important information has been updated. BOXPARK would like all it’s customers, staff and contractors to have the most exciting and stress free experience. It is therefore very important that all personel familiarise themselves with this document and liaise directly with the relevant team member using the contact details below:

LIGHTING IN THE BAR
A bespoke set of spots, moving heads and mirror lighting as well as neons. All pre-set to venue colour spec unless agreed otherwise prior to hire
NETWORK / INTERNET Hardwired:
Within the bar we have a Netgear Switch with 10 free ethernet ports. These can be made available if a hardwired LAN connection is required. We also have option required wireless speeds for live streams and broadcast Internet speeds directly from this switch are around 170 MB up and down. If you wish to use this solution you will need to bring all leads as these are not supplied. Wifi: We have a Wifi network in the bar that can be used. The internet speeds over wifi are around 35 MB up and down.
DJ RIDERS
Riders are arranged prior to event. It is the promoters responsibility to manage this.
STAGING IN THE BAR
Made up of modular blocks (length: 1200mm, width: 600mm, height: 400mm) we can easily cater for most set ups, the blocks would usually be set up in front of the DJ Booth which is situated between the two entrance doors. Please ask for further details if required.

We can make any event bespoke by working with our food vendors on a pre ordered personalised menu. Private corporate spaces within your event at some of our independent restaurants. Guests get the BOXPARK experience with credit to use at a vendor of their choice.
DRINK
Our Bar Manager can work to design a signature cocktail and tailor the menu for any occasion. We can offer a limited bar and allocate tokens to guests to a full open bar.
PLAY
We have a host of leisure activities, games and events to tailor a bespoke package for you. We can work with some of our best event hosts to make your event unique.

BAD AXE THROWING Bad Axe are the world’s biggest urban axe throwing club. Their mission is to bring the thrill of a traditional Canadian backyard pastime to urban communities. With the help of talented axe throwing coaches, hundreds of thousands of people have been able to share their passion for throwing axes. They pride themselves in delivering outstanding customer service to all of their clients whether it’s for walk-ins, leagues, private parties and team building events.

LOAD-IN DETAILS All load-in’s requiring a vehicle access need to pre arrange this with the Production manager by emailing him the following: Name: Vehicle registration: Date and time expected: Details of what you are dropping off: We will then arrange access with Ruskin Square security via the side access road just off Dingwall Rd and access to our loading / delivery bays at the rear of the venue. • Load in from Dingwall Rd • There is a lift to get up from the loading bay area • Maximum stay of 20 mins in the loading bays • Morning events, please be aware that the traders in BOXPARK’s main event space want to be operating their normal lunch service and as such we ask any event is finished and packed away / loaded out by midday to allow as little disruption as possible to their trade. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DRESSING/GREEN ROOMS
We have a small staff room with a shower in the back of house area but no “green room” as such.
CAPACITY
The maximum capacity we can cater for on a large-scale event is 2000 people. Any event date where it is anticipated attendance of more than 1200 people, the event should be ticketed unless privately hired, and event subject to licensing conditions and notification to the licensing authorities no less than 45 days before such an event. *Production extras could lead to the capacity being subject to change.

TRAVEL ACCESS TRAINS
The London Overground line runs from East London to West Croydon. BOXPARK is a 5 minute walk from West Croydon station. Trains from London Bridge to East Croydon take approximately 12 minutes. Trains from London Victoria to East Croydon take approximately 16 minutes. East Croydon station can also be reached within minutes of Gatwick Airport, Crawley, Brighton and the south coast.
TRAMLINK
All Croydon Trams run to East Croydon station from New Addington, Elmers End, Wimbledon and Beckenham Junction.
BUS
The following bus routes all run into Croydon town centre: 50, 60, 64, 75, 109, 119, 154,166, 197, 250, 264, 312, 403, 405, 407, 412, 455, 466, 468, X26.
CYCLE
There is a cycle station beside East Croydon station and the Allianz building opposite.
