Worship — at Hope we worship together on Sundays at 8:15 and 10:30am. Our Sunday School class begins in worship at the 10:30 service. There is no Sunday School the fourth Sunday of each month as that is Family Worship when we encourage our Sunday School staff and church families to worship together as a community. Our early service is our traditional liturgical service and the 10:30 service is a blended worship style with a variety of music. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at each Sunday service and all are welcome to participate. Discipleship — Hope offers many opportunities to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Adult Forums are held on Sunday mornings at 9:30, Thursdays at 11:30 is a Bible study that looks at the Scripture lesson for the upcoming Sunday, their is Sunday School, Confirmation, and an active youth and college program which includes annual mission and ski trips. We also host a Tuesday and Thursday morning Coffee and Conversation at 10am. Service — Hope takes part in many community service outreach projects. We host Family Promise throughout the year, provide for underprivileged children to “shop” for their families at Christmas Shoppe in December, pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and serve at the Community café and the Mobile Soup Kitchen. There is so much that we do believing we are doing God’s Work with Our Hands. The door is always open and we expect and relish our guests who visit us each weekend. Please join us!

Our MissiOn

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Our WOrship

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the foundation of our lives as Christians and that only through studying the whole of scripture do we come to understand our Heavenly Father. As a result our preaching is based solely on scripture since it is the foundation for our lives. In addition to the preaching we sing both traditional hymns and contemporary worship music. There is always Scripture reading, a Season of Prayer and often a time of testimony.

Our TacTics

We are known for our charitable work because we believe that it is our job to be the manifestation of the love of God to the world around us. We are committed to serving suffering humanity in all its forms. Often only when physical needs get met are people willing and able to hear the gospel. We welcome anyone who wants to partner with us to meet human needs and share the love of Christ.
