Jump Up! Sifakas (say she-FAKS) are incredible jumpers. They live in the forests of Madagascar, where trees are far apart. Sifakas can leap the length of a school bus to get from one tree to another. Leaping lemurs!

At school, we have gym class outside because it rarely rains in Jordan. I wear shorts even in November because it’s so hot. In the summer, it is 40°C (104°F) every day!
My brother, Felix, and I loved our visit to the ancient city of Petra. Behind us is Al-Khazneh, one of the most beautiful temples in the world. This structure was carved out of rock and is over 2,000 years old!
I rode a camel in the Wadi Rum desert. It was fun but not very comfortable. Many movies have been filmed in this desert. It is a perfect stand-in for different planets, like Mars.
After three years of living here, I’ve discovered a lot of new things!
Your Turn! Tell us about where you live. Is anything in Sarah’s life similar to yours? (Address page 32.) Chickadee
