Goal and Performance Our sole objective as a team is to work together to develop a great business plan which we will have the pleasure of presenting to the TJX executives as part of the final four. We will constantly keep our performance in check by evaluating each decision we make and will never be opposed to revision if deemed necessary. We will strive for a sense of team pride and unity.
Expectations and Accountability The expectations for all teammates are simple. Show up to group meetings with the intent of moving the project forward, remain open minded so as not to overlook others insights, and above all else encourage one other to do better. Since there is no I in team we will share our failures and successes equally.
Communication Our communication method utilizes four resources; e-mail, Facebook, Google Documents, and cell phones. With all of these resources at our disposal it is almost impossible to be out of contact. We will also utilize face-to-face group meetings when needed. These meetings will structured and kept on track with a schedule of deadlines in order to prioritize work.
Leadership, Decision-Making, and Conflict Resolution Leadership will be task based by identifying each group member’s strengths and weaknesses. Decisions will be made on a majority rules basis with room for compromise if a majority cannot be reached. Conflicts, should they arise, will be handled calmly and efficiently. We acknowledge that not all group members see eye to eye, but we also recognize that in order to remain productive these differences must be set aside to focus on the team’s sole objective.
