The iconic "Forever Marilyn" statue, currently standing in the center of Museum Way, is set to be relocated to a new spot within Downtown Park, moving just several feet to the north. This decision comes after a prolonged public debate (and lawsuit). The 26-foot-tall statue, which depicts Marilyn Monroe in her famous pose from "The Seven Year Itch," has been a popular tourist attraction but also a source of controversy. In Palm Springs, drag shows have evolved into more than just entertainment; they have become a catalyst for artistic revolution.
