The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers/Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association won the SoupFest Golden Ladle in the People’s Choice Amateur division last year. This group won the same award in 2015.
SoupFest sites listed SoupFest soups will be judged in two categories: Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice. A panel of local judges will vote and award the traveling Judges’ Choice trophy for the best soup among all the entries regardless of category. People will travel around to the competing businesses and vote for one favorite in each division. Traveling golden ladles will be awarded to the People’s Culinary Choice and People’s Amateur Choice. Winners will display trophies at their business for the year and surrender them before next year’s SoupFest.
