EMILY KAYE BRIDAL
The perfect wedding dress
BY SUE READY
Whether you’ve dreamed of a wedding gown since you were 5 years old and know exactly its characteristics right down to the last sequins and pieces of lace, finding the dress of your dreams can be stressful. After all, you’ve probably never worn it before and can certainly feel as if it’s the most expensive piece of clothing you’ll ever own.
Looking for a casual non-stressful wedding experience? Check out Emily Kaye Bridal, the newest addition to the bridal scene in the lakes area region. Owner Emily Beutz recently opened her bridal shop in Nisswa right off Highway 371 for a convenient and attentive shopping experience for all your bridal needs. Here you’ll find wedding dresses priced in a wide range between $800 to $2,500, representing a variety of designers — Justin Alexander, Allure Bridal and Eddy K. Emily Kaye Bridal is a one-stop shopping experience for brides with veils, shoes and jewelry. Customized in-house alterations are available so the bride will have the perfect fit. A fun addition and not to be overlooked for the bridal collection are felt (fedora style) and cowgirl hand painted hats. They’re perfect for engagement and bachelorette parties and even your honeymoon, created by custom designer Brittany Cleppers.
Emily strives to support local businesses, especially female owned ones, with her partnership list of preferred vendors. Her resources include contacts with local businesses in the area like DJs, photographers, wedding planners, florists and salons.
Emily’s future expansion of her company is expanding a one-stop shop for bridal gowns to include tuxedos, and bridesmaids gowns.
Social media plays a huge part in promoting Emily Kaye Bridal. The shop is featured on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, a variety of chamber postings and store brochures distributed to local resorts.
Emily has found many more rewarding moments than challenges as a shop owner. “I have one of the best jobs in the world! It is very enjoyable work. Some of my favorite moments are when the brides walk out of the dressing room in their favorite gown and everyone starts to cry (happy tears, of course). Moments like that make all my hard work, intense research, sweat and tears worth it,” Emily explained.
