The area features more than 5,000 acres of forests and lakes. Opportunities abound for biking, hiking, ice fishing, snowshoeing, skiing and snowmobiling. LARSON LAKES Cross country skilling and snow shoeing for all skill levels—south of Deerwood. Go one half mile south of the Highways 6 and 210 junction, then go east on Country Road 10. Follow 10 for about four miles. Larson Lake parking area is on the east side of the road. Watch for signs. Larson Lakes has miles of trails through thick forests, a shelter, and holds snow later in the season than any other groomed course in the area.
