MUSIC IN THE PARK Bring the whole family to Music in the Park at Crosby’s Memorial Park on beautiful Serpent Lake for a fun night filled with music, food, and games on the second and fourth Thursdays in June, July and August from 5 to 8 p.m. Free.

FAST AND FURIOUS POWER BOAT RACES The slower-paced lifestyle of Cuyuna Country is interrupted on the last weekend of July when power boat racing returns to the shores of Serpent Lake. Racers from around the country come to Crosby to participate in what has become one of the most spectacular venues in the United States. Watch racers compete in classes ranging from 40 MPH Mini-GTs up to 140 MPH Mod-Unlimiteds. The free races are on the last Saturday and Sunday of July from noon to 4 p.m.

CUYUNA OFF-ROAD TRIATHLON The third Annual Cuyuna Off-Road Triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the world-renowned Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area. As a fundraiser for the Cuyuna Elementary School’s PTO, this off-road triathlon challenges participants to a lake paddle, mountain bike ride and trail run. ICE FISHING CONTEST If you love to fish, compete for cash prizes at the multi-species ice fishing contest on Serpent Lake the first Saturday in February from 12 to 3 p.m. Winners have included eelpout, panfish, bass, walleye and northern pike pulled from the icy lake. Snacks, beverages and raffles available in a warming tent on the ice.
