In a PBS news release, “Masterpiece” executive producer Rebecca Eaton said, “It’s a bittersweet time for ‘Grantchester’ fans, who will be cheering the return of the series but crushed to say goodbye to James.” She continued by adding that his last episodes are brilliant, and that the audience will be captivated by an interesting new vicar.
This feeling was echoed by executive producer Diederick Santer, who said: “While I’m sad that these will be James Norton’s final episodes, we will make sure he goes out with a bang. We’ve got exciting plans for where the show is heading and the vicarage won’t be vacant for long.”

NEW ON NETFLIX: “Queer Eye” Season 4
The Fab Five are back for more heartwarming makeovers, and this time they’re in Kansas City. Season 4 of this hit reality TV series premieres Friday, July 19, and the life-changing magic of our favorite hosts will have you choked up in no time. In each episode, Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski and Bobby Berk swoop into someone’s life and turn it upside down — in a good way. France overhauls the wardrobe, Van Ness takes care of the hair/makeup/skincare routines, Brown treats their soul, and Poroski teaches them a thing or two in the kitchen, all while Berk does the literal heavy lifting in the home makeover department. When all is said and done, the hosts sit back and watch as their subject implements everything he or she has learned. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll certainly cringe at some of the “before” circumstances, but the “afters” are always touching. Watch for another batch of “Queer Eye” episodes to drop later this year featuring some incredible adventures in Japan.
“Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein”
This Netflix mockumentary stars David Harbour (Chief Hopper from “Stranger Things”) as a thespian whose discovery of old footage of his father’s stage play “Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein” takes him on an over-the-top, hilarious journey of self-discovery. This half-hour special premieres Tuesday, July 16, features a number of guest stars, including Alfred Molina (“Spider-Man 2,” 2004) and Kate Berlant (“Ghosted”), and was created by John Levenstein, one of the great minds behind “Arrested Development.”

Would you go on TV and admit you’re a terrible baker? I wouldn’t. If anything turns out badly in my kitchen, rightly or wrongly, you can bet I’m blaming the recipe first.
Unlike me, eight new recruits are gamely putting their egos aside in the name of learning and self-betterment. They’re OK with being called the “Worst Bakers in America,” at least during the Season 2 premiere, which airs Monday, July 15, on Food Network.
