Client Requirement Client is an invoice factoring firm that advances clients against their pending invoices for 8085% of their total amount, and after end customer pays up, they clear the remaining 15-20% providing clients with a consistent cash flow to cater to their day to day business requirements.

Client required a simple and straightforward website with a new look and feel to showcase their services and company information to increase customer base. Client also required that the new site be built with the latest technology using the latest WordPress CMS. Client’s specific requirements were: 

WordPress to be used as a CMS for the development of the website.



All standard WordPress configurations for site settings, email, etc. are included.



Design, conversion to HTML and Theme Integration for WordPress CMS.



The website should work with the followingbrowsers: Internet Explorer Browser 7.0 and above, Firefox 3 and above versions, Safari, Chrome (Included), Mobile Browser Compatible.



Social Sharing enabled for the website.

Planning The following development approach was adopted to equip the website with simple yet powerful features and functionality mentioned below:  Latest version of WordPress was used for the purpose.  As the first step in planning, a layout was designed to decide the placement of content, images logos etc.  Feasibility was checked and changes were decided accordingly.  The next phase consisted of website development.  Iterative feedback was taken at every stage and changes implemented immediately.  Proper placement of content and images to give the website a highly professional look.  Final development of the website as per the finalized plan.

Architecture WordPress Architecture The website was mainly characterized by rich user interface and required a easy and professional look that entailed the use of PHP and MySQL Server basedWordPress as the CMS.

WordPress Installations generally come with one default theme. This theme is a combination of template files, style sheet files, java scripts files, image files and some other functional files that work together to create the design and functionality of a WordPress Site.

Template files in WordPress are used to generate web pages and these are the files that enable customization. This means that the more the template files, the more customization you can do. Some template files can be used on all the web pages – for example – header and footer. Some template files can be used conditionally. WordPress is programmed to decide which files need to be loaded and when, generally with the help of template hierarchy rules.

Some examples of template files are Header.php, Index.php, Home.php, Front-page.php, Page.php, Single.php, Category.php, author.php, search.php, 404.php, footer.php, comments.php, style.php, sidebar.php and functions.php
