HOW LIAM THE LIMESTONE CAME TO BE

• Liam is a limestone.

• He’s a sedimentary rock that comes from Cedar Creek, Virginia. • He’s made of coral and has a grayish color.

• A long time ago he was magma that was deep inside the earth.

• Then he was shot out of a volcano, landed on the earth’s surface, and became igneous rock.

• Then he’s exposed to weather and erosion, then he begins to crack, crumble, and mix with other sediments. Erosion moves him around and deposits him into new places.

• . His mixture of pieces that smashes together into chunks. One of those chunks is Liam the limestone.

• And that is how limestone is made and how Liam the limestone came to be. • THE END

• A special thanks to Mrs. Allred
