Burden Parlor, Olive Swann Porter Building. 2:30-5:30pm Taylor on Tour. Join Wesleyan professors and students for a guided tour of renovated Taylor Hall. Transportation available from Candler Alumnae Center. Believe, Learn, Serve: Nursing at Wesleyan. Join Wesleyan’s Dean of Nursing Judy Lott, PhD, and her staff for a tour of the new nursing facilities in Munroe Science Center. Transportation available from Candler Alumnae Center. 3-4pm Back to College: “Reverberations” Art Exhibit. Professor of Art Libby Bailey, PhD, will give a gallery talk on her oil paintings and her book, Gravity in Art. Cowles Myles Collier East Gallery, Porter Fine Arts Building. 6pm Celebration Concert. Wesleyan College music faculty, The Wesleyannes, and reunion class alumnae perform live on stage. Porter Family Memorial Auditorium. 7:15-8:30pm The Presidents’ Reception. Hosted by Wesleyan College President Ruth Knox, Wesleyan College Alumnae Association President Ashley Garrett ’90, and Past Presidents of the Wesleyan College Alumnae Association. Benson Room, Candler Alumnae Center. 2:15-3:15pm Masterworks on the Move. This important art exhibit of American paintings will be traveling to museum venues throughout the country. Join Lisa Sloben ’00, Director of the Center for Arts, for a gallery talk and preview of the exhibit. Cowles Myles Collier West Gallery, Porter Fine Arts Building. 2:15-4:30pm Trolley Tours of Campus. Depart from Candler Alumnae Center. Tours leave at 2:15 and 3:15pm. Guided by Wesleyan students. 2:15-5:30pm Nursing Program Open House. Tour Wesleyan’s new nursing facilities in Munroe Science Center at your leisure. Transportation available from Candler Alumnae Center. Spirit Showcase: STUNT costumes, scrapbooks, t-shirts, etc. Bring your favorite Wesleyan treasures to share in this exhibit of reunion class memorabilia. Enjoy a visual display honoring Julia Munroe Woodward ’34, “Miss Julia,” and sign a tribute book for her family. Exhibit Director Flo Williams Douglas ’67. Oval Hall, Candler Alumnae Center. Visit Anderson Cabin, the new Ellen Ann Edenfield Pavilion, and explore Wesleyan’s nature trails on back campus with Professor of Biology Jim Ferrari, PhD. Depart from Mathews Athletic Center. Locker rooms open. Shuttle available from Loggia to Mathews. 4pm Alumnae/Student Soccer Game: The Tradition Continues. Use locker rooms in Mathews Athletic Center. Enjoy southern picnic fare and entertainment that includes a special Washboard Band reunion performance with President Knox. Rain location: Anderson Dining Hall. Lemonade on the Lawn. Meet members of the Alumnae Association’s Board of Managers to learn how you can volunteer for Wesleyan. Lawn in front of Candler Alumnae Center. Alumnae Marketplace on the Loggia. Enjoy shopping from a selection of special gifts promoted by alumnae for alumnae, including book signings by alumnae authors. Sales benefit the College. Friday, 2-4pm and Saturday, 2-5pm. Golden Heart Challenge Wall: Sisterhood is Calling. Visit the Golden Heart Classroom in Munroe Science Center (Room 203). The Golden Hearts challenge all Pirate, GK, and PK classes to name three additional classrooms so all four sisterhood classes will be honored. Contact the Advancement Office at 478-757-5170 to learn how your class can name a classroom and get a wall! On Common Ground: Wesleyan’s Living History Program. Meet and be greeted by student interpreters representing Wesleyannes from the 1830s to 1980s. Step into Wesleyan’s past! Special Bookstore Hours: Friday, 8:30-5pm; Saturday, 10-4pm (Closed from 12-1pm). Sisters 4 Sisters Porch Party. For Classes 2001-2012. 5pm Saturday at Jones Hall Back Porch. President Knox will meet with and recognize members of this Young Alumnae annual fund giving program. Come learn about Sisters 4 Sisters. All class members welcome. SLI Reunion. Summer Leadership Institute alumnae are invited to celebrate 12 years of travel, educational, and philanthropic experiences as members of this prestigious program. Join SLI trustee sponsors, faculty sponsors, and other SLI alumnae on Saturday, 7:30pm at Bradley House. Hosted by President Ruth Knox. Thanks – A Thousandfold!
