to Mustang Ranch Angus 2021 Power on the Plains Bull Offering.

The Quick family would like to invite you to join us at the Texhoma Livestock Auction on Wednesday, April 21st for our Annual Production Sale. Bulls will be available for viewing on the 20th and if you have questions feel free to contact us prior to the sale. Each year we work hard to take steps forward to produce genetics that will add power, pounds, and maternal value to your operation. We use artificial insemination and embryo transfer to help make strides in our program and offer you top quality genetics from top Angus producers from around the country. We also work hard outside of our A.I. programs to make sure the sires we have are top end producers that have the phenotype and genetics needed to add everything from pound producers to easy calvers. Our goal is to have cattle that will fit almost every program for making high end maternal cattle that can work in commercial and seedstock operations to heavy finishing steers and heifers feeders love to have. Two years ago we added a couple of power bulls from two of the top programs in the country - SAV Cascade 8214 and KLA Resource 828. We are pleased to offer this year the 1st progeny available from these two excellent bulls to go along with our other tried and true proven performers. Both bulls produced thick, heavy boned calves with very nice Angus heads on them. We hope you like them and the rest of the offering as much as we do. Performance Data

All of the individual performance and Angus GS/i50k data is included in the EPDs. EPDs are current as of April 9, 2021.

Herd Health

All bulls have been vaccinated with Titanium, 7-way, Pasturella as well as back poured. They have also been tested negative for BVD-PI. Bulls have either been tested for Trich or can be. Individual health certiﬁcates will be provided.

Breeding Guarantee

All bulls sold are guaranteed to be satisfactory breeders for the first breeding season following the sale. A breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following the first turnout of the bull. All bull have been given a breeding soundness exam by Dr. Colin Durham, DVM. If there is a reproductive problem, please contact us immediately and a replacement bull will be provided if available, or a credit of equal to the animal’s purchase price, minus salvage value, will be issued in the next sale. The guarantee does not cover illness or death of the animal or animals.

The Mustang Ranch History... 101 years ago a young girl, Helen Joyce, married Dewey Lowry. Together they made their ﬁrst home in a small dug out, using wood crates as cupboards with homemade curtains. The two of them worked hard, farming, raising cattle and horses. They would also go to little ropings and races, where this young girl would race her little grey mare for extra money. The two of them went from that little dug out to a home down in the canyons, where they raised two children, LonDale and Patsy. Patsy, the youngest, married Bob Pursley. The two of them stayed here on the ranch and had two girls, Rala and Bobbi. Rala married Jeff Moore and had a beautiful girl. Bobbi married JJ Quick and they stayed on the ranch to help it carry on. They had 3 children, Robert, Stormi, and Jami Jo. Robert married Montana Yocam and they have a handsome and already ornery 7 months old baby boy. We are now on our 4th generation growing up here on the ranch and starting the 5th. Mustang Ranch has grown from that little dug out and raising cross bred cattle to now Registered Black Angus. Our little ranch works hard to make sure we raise strong solid cattle. We take pride in the history of our ranch and the hard work that was put into it. In the last 101 years our country has grown, we have been through wars, depression, drought, and now Covid-19. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16. Our prayer is not just for our little Mustang Ranch, but for everyone to know Him. We would like to thank you for your interest in our offering.
