fall 2021: the capsule sustainable design drivers

Smart Windows: Windows made from smart-tinting glass, reducing the amount of light allowed in during certain times of day. This reduces energy used for air conditioning and lighting.

Smart Thermostat: Can moniter heating and cooling habits to reduce waste. Other advanced settings can help to understand when heating and cooling is necessary.

Solar Tiles: Solar tiles plaed on the facade of the building harness the sun’s energy to use in powering various systems within the building.

Smart Lighting: Smart bulbs and LED lighting consume less energy, have a longer lifespan, and use safer materials. Smart lighting system can set schedule, make decisions, and be controlled remotely.

Recycled Materials: This building utillizes recycled materials in the roof, carpet, lighting fixtures, and tiles.
