LtG Report Hello! June has been such an amazing month! We are starting the official Dance to Cure planning which will involve all nine schools in the Division. The June DCM went perfectly well. I am very excited for the next one! As a Division, we really need to keep working on staying in good communication and keep building great relationships. This whole year is going to be so much fun and I can't even express how anxious I am to meet all of you personally. Make sure to attend the next event and say hello!

RECAP June DCM

Cara Nixon North Marion President

The June DCM was a great experience. It is so important and fun to connect with Key Club members outside of your own school. It gives you a chance to not only bond with your fellow Key Clubbers, but also to share ideas that can improve your Division. I highly recommend attending all that you can, not only for your own benefit, but for the entire Key Club family as well.

Gillean Mead Molalla President

The June DCM was so much fun and a great environment for all the Key Clubbers. We were extremely productive with talking about our plan for the upcoming year, but also had so much fun throwing water balloons and getting to know people from other schools. I strongly recommend the next DCM because they are vital for our communication as a Division. Come to the next one in July and you'll get to know and become friends with a lot of people that find the same joy in community service as you do!

PRESIDENT'S SPOTLIGHT PRESENTED TO CARA NIXON NORTH MARION KEY CLUB PRESIDENT FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE

I'm Cara Nixon and I'm president of North Marion High School's Key Club. I joined Key Club as a sophomore because I believe it's important to serve your community in any way that you can. Now as a senior, Key Club is my favorite extracurricular and an important part of my entire high school experience. I am so excited for the upcoming year so that Division 70 can continue to thrive and improve our communities. I can't wait to see what we can all accomplish as a team in the months to come, whether it be through monthly DCM's, a Division wide dance for an amazing cause, or the excitement that comes with DCON. I hope to meet as many of you as I can soon! With love, Cara

Funny story I actually broke my collarbone the day before leaving on a plane for San Antonio, but I went anyways and it was so worth it, meeting people from literally all around the world and experiencing not only different cultures, but also all the different Districts that are almost if not completely opposite of the PNW. It was truly eye-opening, and I was able to learn more about the International Officers.
