Thank you Mollie!
I can never thank Mollie enough for equipping me for ultimate success during my term as Lieutenant Governor. Her work this year has been so extraordinary and I can’t wait to pick up where she lef off. I know how much I will miss her as our LtG and I know how much you will too. The fact is that she hasn’t only equipped me for success, but everyone in our Division with her positive attitude and her work ethic. It will be hard to follow in her footsteps, but I’m up for the challenge. So again we thank you Mollie. The 2016-2017 service year will be remembered by your name.
As your Lieutenant Governor I start with one main goalCommunication, getting monthly, if not weekly updates on what's happening, also being able to inform you of events, oppurtunities, and upcoming deadlines. I plan on having a huge attendance at next years DCON and plan to get the clubs more involved with eachother at well thought out DCM's and divisional projects. Another goal I have is to get you Key Clubbers the hours you need this year. I want to create numerous oppurtunities for you to better yourselves in your community. The 2017-2018 year will be legendary for Division 70. -Brandon Orick LtG of D70
DCON DCON DCON DCON! Here's just a recap of the whole jam-packed weekend. I was very excited to meet North Marion Key Club and Canby Key Club at DCON. It was awesome seeing them and getting to spend some time talking.
As for spirit and enthuisiam, everyone was with their clubs yelling chants and having “spirit battles. We all were standing on our chairs jumping up and down. In fact, the ground below was shaking so much, I thought we would fall through the floor.
There were several speakers presented at DCON, some comedians, some internet safety experts. I can speak for all of the attendees when I say we all took something home from DCON. We voted on our newly elected District Board afer hearing their speeches and even partied at a dance.
All in all, DCON was so memorable and I'm already so excited for next year.
