He has worked in the natural environment, and shown in prestigious galleries and world class museums. Interested in transience and change, his most extreme projects are water drawings whose evaporation through time is the work. Pablo Miralles CAN WE ALL GET ALONG (2018, 49 minutes, digital) “Can We All Get Along? The Segregation of John Muir High Schoo”l is an alumnus’ exploration of one high school’s history of racial integration, which predates the Brown vs. Board of Education decision, to its current struggles as part of the ‘failing’ and ‘resegregated’ public education of the 21st Century.

Roee Messinger THE ERIC GARNER STORY (2019, 100 minutes, digital) Roee Messinger’s American Trial: The Eric Garner Story does the radical work of imagining a trial and envisages a future that was denied to Eric Garner and his family, thanks to the extremely racist and flawed legal system in the United States. Messinger’s film is fictional but mostly unscripted; he does not use any actors except Anthony Altieri, who plays Pantaleo and speaks only from Pantaleo’s public statements and from information gathered from his attorney.

Are we trapped in the script of god? Actors of God is an independent film within a film genre. This arthouse Canadian film is a social, poetic and mystical film about the crucifixion of an indie filmmaker within his writing, a beaten up actor in crisis , and an actress in exile. The film is based on a few facts, fictionalized and is in between reality and illusion, turning filmmaking into a divine process, dealing with cinema and god, exile and migration, spirituality and arts.
