Notification of non-settle must be made within 30 days of original semen shipment date in order to qualify for the Guaranteed Settle Policy. Upon meeting these requirements and proper notification, DHSP will provide semen for one re-breed (two doses) to the buyer at no charge. We do require, however, that the buyer takes responsibility for all cost associated with re-breeds (i.e., packaging, shipping cost, etc.). orders will be handled the same as normal and filled in the order received. Because of this, we cannot always guarantee semen availability on the boar you originally ordered. MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AM
POLICIES
Collection days are Mondays and Thursdays. All of the boars housed at DHSP are used confidently within our own herd and are not strictly for semen sales. We solely ship semen through UPS, and while they are great to work with, please be aware that there are limitations. UPS does not provide shipping on federal holidays. Guaranteed Settle is offered on all boars housed at DHSP. While we are incredibly proud of our conception rates, we recognize that there are variables out of our control when it comes to breeding livestock. Therefore, we always make an effort to provide a replacement for any non-settled semen through our Guaranteed Settle Policy.

Guaranteed Settle assumes that you are breeding one female per two doses. You are not eligible for out Guaranteed Settle Policy if you split the dose and settle one sow and miss another, or miss both. This guarantee is also void if breeding simply didn’t go as planned and/or your semen has exceeded 5 days since the original shipment arrived.
