Protecting Oklahoma’s children Oklahoma is a national leader in innovative and compassionate child care standards and oversight. Faculty members from OSU’s College of Human Sciences conducted the research that validated those standards. OSU researchers also helped shape and guide the state’s child care rating system called Reaching for the Stars.
