Martha Bartlette was born in Powhatan, Virginia on March 13, 1932 to the late Alberta and Joseph Bartlette.
She departed this life at her home on Friday, August 6, 198 2.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she attended regularly.
We shall miss her far more than WOrds can express. She was a lovely person and was loved by many.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Dianne and Melcine, 2 Sons, James and Jerome one daughter in-laW Kim, 3 brothers, James, Robert and Russel1, 4 sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
A heart of gold stopped beating
Two shining eyes at rest God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best. God knows you had to leave us
But you didn 't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day He took you home .
To some you are forgotten
To others, just part of the past
But to us who loved and lost you Your memory will always last.
