Teen Da ng Violence: (D2011): Assaul ve, threatening, or controlling behavior, including stalking, as defi ned in 11 Del.C. §1312, which one person uses against another person in order to gain or maintain power or control in a current or past rela onship. The behavior can occur in both heterosexual and same sex rela onships, and in serious or casual rela onships. (See “Harassment”)

Grades K – 5: Not applicable Grades 6 – 12: Level II Off ense First Off ense Required:

• Parent/Guardian no fi ca on • Police no fi ca on, if necessary • DOE eSchool Incident Report fi led as required by law • Deten on and/or suspension (1-2 days) Op onal: • Cancella on of privileges such as, but not limited to, before and/or a er school ac vi es • Referral to school counselor and/or support services

Subsequent Off enses Required:

• Parent/Guardian conference • Referral to MTSS Problem Solving Team (PST) • Police no fi ca on, if necessary • DOE eSchool Incident Report fi led as required by law • Deten on and/or Suspension (2-3 days) Op onal: • Cancella on of privileges such as, but not limited to, before and/or a er school ac vi es • Referral to Alterna ve Placement Team
