Disorderly Conduct

Disorderly Conduct: Conduct in the school environment which causes public inconvenience, annoyance, alarm or creates a risk thereof by engaging in fi gh ng or violent tumultuous or threatening behavior, or making an unreasonable noise or an offensively coarse u erance or gesture or display, or addressing abusive language to any person present. (11. Del. C. § 1301).

Grades K – 5: Level III Off ense

• Staff /student conference • Parent/Guardian no fi ca on • Nearpod (SEL) lesson assignment Op onal: • Cancella on of privileges such as, but not limited to, before and/or a er school ac vi es • Deten on and/or Suspension 2nd - 5th grade only (1 day)

Subsequent Off enses Required:

• Staff /student conference • Parent/Guardian conference upon return to school • Posi ve Behavior Support Plan • Referral to support services and/or MTSS Problem Solving Team Op onal: • Cancella on of privileges such as, but not limited to, before and/or a er school ac vi es • Deten on and/or Suspension (1-2 days)
