Off ensive Touching – Student Vic m (D0801): Inten onally touching another student either with a member of his or her body or with any instrument, knowing that the person is thereby likely to cause off ense or alarm to such other person; or Inten onally striking another person with saliva, urine, feces or any other bodily fl uid, knowing that the person is thereby likely to cause off ense or alarm to such other person.

Grades K – 5: Level III Off ense

First Off ense Required:

• Staff /student conference • Parent/Guardian no fi ca on • Nearpod (SEL) lesson assignment • DOE eSchool Incident Report fi led as required by law Op onal: • Cancella on of privileges such as, but not limited to, before and/or a er school ac vi es • Deten on and/or Suspension 2nd - 5th grade only (1 day)

Subsequent Off enses Required:

• Staff /student conference • Parent/Guardian conference required upon return to school • Referral to MTSS Problem Solving Team • DOE eSchool Incident Report fi led as required by law Op onal: • Deten on and/or Suspension (1-2 days)

Grades 6 – 12: Level III Off ense

• Staff/student restora ve conversa on • Restora ve circle, if appropriate • Parent/Guardian no fi ca on • DOE eSchool Incident Report fi led as required by law • Deten on and/or Suspension (1-2 days) Op onal: • Cancella on of privileges such as, but not limited to, before and/or a er school ac vi es
