Another hot, humid weekend with showers & storms likely.
By K.D. Michaels, Staff Writer Law enforcement officers from around the region lined up at the Branson Landing last weekend for the 2021 Light Run Parade. The parade, a highlight of Branson’s Law Enforcement Week, featured approximately 40 vehicles, each driven by law en-
forcement personnel, making the trek down the promenade at the Branson Landing, beginning at Belk and ending at the Bass Pro Shop. Included in the procession were police cars, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles. Hundreds of spectators lined the sidewalks of the Branson
Landing to enjoy this unique experience. The parade, led by a banner and bagpipe players, was followed by the reading of the names of fallen officers, as well as a moment of silence. SEE PARADE, PAGE 13
