By K.D. Michaels, Staff Writer As the world, collectively, remembers the tragic events of 9/11, Branson will be the site of a number of remembrance observations as our city pays homage to those lives cut short on September 11, 2001. The Branson Veterans Task Force, with help from Tom Brett and The Brett family, will host Branson Remembers, a moving ceremony to honor those who lost their lives 20 years ago in the 9/11 tragedy. This special observance, set for Saturday, September 11, will be held in front of the fountains at the Branson Landing and will celebrate the nearly three thousand lives lost on September 11, 2001, in a powerful tribute of remembrance. Keynote speaker will be Mayor Larry Milton. The event begins at 6 p.m., and all are invited to attend. On Saturday, Big Cedar Lodge is the site of a 9/11 We Remember SEE 9/11, PAGE 8
