BEGINNING BEGINNING IN THE BEGINNING THE WORD ALREADY EXISTED. THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD. JOHN 1:1
The big bang, that light at the beginning of time as we know it, was God speaking everything into being. A creator who planned the whole of eternity from beginning to end. A plan that outstretches the universe in all its glory and YOU are a part of it. That's right stardust, YOU! God does not make mistakes. God is your home.
YOU HAVE SEARCHED ME, LORD, AND YOU KNOW ME. YOU KNOW WHEN I SIT AND WHEN I RISE; YOU PERCEIVE MY THOUGHTS FROM AFAR. YOU DISCERN MY GOING OUT AND MY LYING DOWN; YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH ALL MY WAYS. BEFORE A WORD IS ON MY TONGUE YOU, LORD, KNOW IT COMPLETELY. YOU HEM ME IN BEHIND AND BEFORE, AND YOU LAY YOUR HAND UPON ME. SUCH KNOWLEDGE IS TOO WONDERFUL FOR ME, TOO LOFTY FOR ME TO ATTAIN. YOUR BELOVED LET HIM KISS ME WITH THE KISSES OF HIS MOUTH... SONG OF SONGS
Jesus goes all out. This is obvious in the love story found in the centre of the Bible called The Song of Songs or also known as Song of Solomon. It is the passionate engagement of a couple who are beside themselves with love for one another. The romantic and sensual text quickly helps us to realise that we are the apple of God's eye and God is our lover who wants nothing more than to have spiritual intimacy with us forever! In fact we are his bride. I AM MY BELOVED'S, AND MY BELOVED IS MINE: HE FEEDS AMONG THE LILIES. SONG OF SONGS 6;3
THE FRUIT
I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES, IF YOU REMAIN IN ME AND I IN YOU, YOU WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT. APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING. JOHN 15;5
Many of us are very aware that we can do nothing, have nothing and feel like nothing at times. We have tried to find our place in this world only to feel crushed by it. The world will always starve you, no matter how much you eat of it. It may fulfil our wants at times, but it cannot fulfil our needs. Rich and poor alike seek happiness above all things. This can only be found in a relationship wth God, our Maker. Our Father God knows us intimately, he made us and is the only one who can truly care for us. If we trust that God is, he promises to open our eyes if we genuinely seek him.

KILLER FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE FREE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. ROMANS 6:23
People earn wages. They work hard for them and finally get their pay off. Unfortunately, the wages of feeding our personal desires and self- will has a costly price; death and complete separation from God. We are totally to blame and totally powerless to save ourselves. BUT when Jesus came and died on the cross, he took our place and paid for our wrongdoing and rebellion from God with his own life. This act of love and kindness completely satisfied God and has allowed us to have a new relationship with him, completely forgiven forever. Done, dusted, paid. We can only say 'thank you' for such a great bail out because God draws us closer and fixes our brokenness.
“FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. JOHN 3:16
SECURE BECAUSE, IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED. ROMANS 10:9
God draws us to himself. In fact, he purses our entire lives, waiting to reveal to us his wondrous amazingness! The very thing we were looking for, and could never find in anything else, is our Maker. Once we believe what he has done for us, and ask him to take the wheel, we will find that, slowly but surely, something new is cooking inside of us. We actually start to change and a love for God starts rising inside of us. Our understanding of God's love keeps increasing forever and ever and ever and ever until we see him face to face.
O DEATH, WHERE THEN YOUR VICTORY? WHERE THEN YOUR STING? FOR SIN—THE STING THAT CAUSES DEATH—WILL ALL BE GONE; AND THE LAW, WHICH REVEALS OUR SINS, WILL NO LONGER BE OUR JUDGE. HOW WE THANK GOD FOR ALL OF THIS! IT IS HE WHO MAKES US VICTORIOUS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD! 1 CORINTHIANS 55:57
SUCCULANT HOWEVER, AS IT IS WRITTEN: “WHAT NO EYE HAS SEEN, WHAT NO EAR HAS HEARD, AND WHAT NO HUMAN MIND HAS CONCEIVED” — THE THINGS GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM— 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9
As you learn to spend time with God, to listen and stay still with him, you will learn to recognise his voice and prompts to guide you through life. Peace will replace anxiety, calm will replace fear and so much more. You will never be alone again. God has got you. The Bible has many of God's promises that are provided for you, to help you and remind you of his great and unbreakable faithfulness to you and all of us. Stay close to him so that you will truly find life.
AND I AM CONVINCED THAT NOTHING CAN EVER SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE. NEITHER DEATH NOR LIFE, NEITHER ANGELS NOR DEMONS, NEITHER OUR FEARS FOR TODAY NOR OUR WORRIES ABOUT TOMORROW—NOT EVEN THE POWERS OF HELL CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE. NO POWER IN THE SKY ABOVE OR IN THE EARTH BELOW—INDEED, NOTHING IN ALL CREATION WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS REVEALED IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. ROMANS 8:38-39
TALK TO GOD
AND HE SAID TO ALL, “IF ANYONE WOULD COME AFTER ME, LET HIM DENY HIMSELF AND TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY AND FOLLOW ME. FOR WHOEVER WOULD SAVE HIS LIFE WILL LOSE IT, BUT WHOEVER LOSES HIS LIFE FOR MY SAKE WILL SAVE IT. LUKE 9:23
Perhaps you want to say this to God by now: Father I believe what you say and that your son Jesus Christ did all that was required to save me from eternal death and separation from you. Please forgive me for going my own way. I need you, and want you to be in control of my life. I relinquish being the ruler of my own life because that position belongs to you. Do as you promise and cover me in your love, as you purify me completely from my rebellion against you. I want you to be in charge. Thank you that you have forgiven me and I believe that this is the beginning of our wonderful relationship together. Please guide me closely on this journey. I believe you. Thank you.
