about I focus on user-experience through an architectural lens at intersections of design, cities, and technology. I help organizations understand and create human-centered design solutions that impact the livelihoods of individuals and the communities and cities they reside in. With an eye for design, a mind for strategy, and a passion for innovation, I merge creative intuition with research sensibilities to develop new products, services, and spaces across a multitude of scales and disciplines appropriate for the digital age.
experience Clarity Labs, Lead Designer and UX Consultant, 02/15 - Present Lead designer for a multidisciplinary tech consultant firm composed of creative technologists. Led design and development on vairous projects: Fidare (financial management startup) UX/UI and front-end development, and Divvyy (an online service-sharing platform) graphic design, ideation, branding and UX/UI and Feeding America campaign branding and 2D/3D visual design. MIT Mobile Experiences Lab, Design Consultant, 03/15 - 03/16 Led the UX research and strategy for Latin America, conducting ethnographic research and creating personas based on a series of interviews conducted in thirteen cities across the world to better understand the needs of Millennials worldwide. Read more at: http://mobile.mit.edu/trends Innovation by Design, Design Strategist, 03/15 - 09/15 Working as part of a team of cross-disciplinary designers to create a vision for the “future of citiesâ€? using a broad range of research methodologies, including ethnographic research, conducting interviews, creating personas, innovative trends research, and design and business strategizing, to form a five year design strategy based on key trends and market opportunity areas across 10 different key industries. La Victoria Lab: Intercorp Peru with IDEO, Designer-in-Residence, 01/15 - 03/15 Working in partnership with IDEO, I led a team in the research and design of an innovation trends database and exploratory website, managed a team of developers in the final production, as well as contributed in the design, ideation, and production of two full-scale prototypes and final pitchdeck, presentation, and exhibition to three different companies of Intercorp Peru: Real Plaza, Plaza Vea, and Oeschle. Panjia Labs: Tech-Education Start-Up, Lead UI/UX Designer, 01/2014 - 07/2014 Led the design and worked alongside developers to create a 3D visual search engine for lifelong learning.
