Colourful themes on Zilverstad children’s cutlery packaging

Zilverstad children’s cutlery is a household word. Who didn’t learn to eat using their own cutlery, adorned with cute little figures such as Miffy? As of this year, Zilverstad presents its cutlery sets in entirely new packaging. Key here are colourful and contemporary illustrations of the various themes within the collection. The illustrations are by the hand of the Breda illustrator Annelieke Hooymans, who finds her inspiration in nature, the city and the street. ‘My illustrations complement children’s products well and the various themes of the cutlery collection suited me to a tee. The one time it was my own garden that provided me with ideas and the other I had to go a bit further afield. All and all a fun project where I could give my creativity free reign, particularly so because many themes are linked to nature and animals and I am a huge fan of both.’
